Last time I saw Guns 'n' Roses was in 1991. Hugely late and utterly shambolic. Probably the worst performance I've ever seen by any 'professional' band.
Left way before the end they were so bad.
Skid Row and NIN were good though.

However anyone here feels about The Beatles. They managed to knock out their entire studio album catalogue in the time that Guns N’ Roses took to record Chinese Democracy.!

Metallica and Foo fighters are a good shout.
Always thought Ozzy Osborne was shit.
Brian Adams, Michael Bolton and John Legend should all be set on fire at a stake.
The most overrated of them all has to be Cliff Richard, don’t know why you cunts buy his records.

Half agree on Rammstein as their albums are very up and down. Mutter being the standout good one.
On the other hand they are reliably superb live. Even when promoting a new album they will only play a smattering of songs from it but will mostly do a greatest hits show (and what a show it is).

Agree Swiss, there are plenty of songs I like from many a soul band for instance Change - Change of Heart but much of anything else they did is unmemorable same with SOS Band etc. I do struggle to find a band in this genre that has hit after hit maybe Earth Wind & Fire? Kool & the Gang? But in the main they all had massive 'hits' but very little to back it up and I love all this type of music.

I've noticed some of the soul bands aren't getting much of a mention so I am going to be brave and say Maze.....apart from Joy & Pain they are a bit meh for me......

i appreciate the beatles' place in music history and they do have a couple of tunes, but as a guitarist there's always a point where conversation turns to that fucking band and i just have to zone out and keep my opinions to myself.

On my European travails everyone goes on about them. Agreed not so much in the UK.
The Doors are underrated as are Japan. Gentlemen Take Polaroids is one of the greatest albums ever made.
